Resolutions
Each year the CCAM Legislative Committee, together with the full board of directors, devises a legislative platform for the upcoming session of the Missouri General Assembly. The platform is presented to the entire membership in the form of resolutions. At the fall annual meeting, which is held in conjunction with the Missouri Association of Counties’ annual conference, the membership votes to accept or reject each resolution.
According to the CCAM bylaws, any member or county may propose and recommend resolutions for adoption by the full association. Such resolutions should be submitted to the president at least 30 days prior to the fall annual meeting or the February annual training session. A written summary of reasons for desiring such proposals should accompany the submissions.
